How does one measure joy? Is it the peace you feel when you encounter something lovely in creation? Is it the exhilaration you feel when you accomplish a job well done? Is it the laughter you feel bubbling up when something tickles your funny bone?
I think my dog has a great way of measuring joy. His tail. Is he a little joyful, a little wag? Or is he WAGTASTIC? Let the swish of that tail tell you how he feels.
This summer our young friends will be able to tell us how they feel too by simply moving Buddy Boy’s tail. Verifiable evidence of an afternoon well spent in the garden.
